Ham Jam 2017

Speakers

This year, three outstanding speakers will join us and share with us their perspectives on ham radio.

Sean Kutzko KX9X, extremely active amateur in various outdoor activities such as SOTA, NPOTA, US Islands, Dxpeditions, and satellites. He is currently the ARRL Manager – Media and Public Relations.

Ward Silver N0AX, Author of numerous amateur radio books and articles, including the ARRL Handbook and Ham Radio for Dummies. He was the Dayton Hamvention Amateur of the Year in 2008.

Bob Schmieder, KK6EK, participated on (and led many) 16 Dxpeditions over the years. He led the 2017 Expedition of the Year to VK0EK, Heard Island. Professionally, he is a research physicist, with about 100 publications and four patents.

Raffle Prizes

We will have lots of prizes to raffle.
Raffle tickets are available for a $5 donation per ticket or (5 tickets for $20). Purchase tickets at our ticket sales tables at HamJam until the mid-morning break.
You do not have to be present to win the top prizes. You or your proxy must be present to be awarded one of the other raffle prizes.
All of our prizes are donated by our sponsors and all after-expense proceeds go for YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS AND ACTIVITIES!
